Rosie Tapia was 6 years old when she disappeared from her bedroom at the Hartland Apartments at 1616 Snow Queen Place (about 1700 West and 1700 South) in Salt Lake City in the early morning hours of Aug. 13, 1995.Rosie was taken from a bedroom of the family apartment, brutally sexually assaulted and dumped into a nearby canal, where her body was discovered hours later.Her killer has never been arrested. Now, 22 years later, her family still seeks justice.
